Milliseconde Topographie is a Montreal based duo of video and music creations. Both coming from acousmatic music background, Nicolas Bernier and Delphine Measroch formed their ensemble in 2004, taking their inspiration in the petiteness of things, the "micro but not quite invisible" movements which appears when we stop to catch them. Blending the sound of accordeon, electric guitar and daxophone, their music is flowing through nostalgic soundscapes. It is then computer processed with a homemade software for real-time treatments. Witnessing a fascination for details of nature, their videos are blending organic images with elements of design.
The works of Milliseconde Topographie have often been recognised around the world and have been screened in some cutting edge festivals such as DotMov Festival (Japan) and Transmediale (Germany). Their videomusic have also won awards at Chicago Motion Graphic Festival (2004, USA) and Visionaria (2004, Italy).
